    And now, some random email facts . . .

    –83 BILLION emails are sent around the world every day. That’s 2 MILLION emails sent every second.

    –But an estimated 71% of the emails are either SPAM or viruses.

    –Last year, a study (–done by the Radicati Group) found that there are 1.2 BILLION email users in the world (–and that number is constantly growing).

    –That means that every person in the world who uses email sends out an average of 45 emails A DAY (–not counting all the SPAM emails).

    –Every year, it takes each of us, on average, 52 HOURS . . . or more than TWO FULL DAYS . . . to sort through junk email and delete SPAM.

    –On an average day at work, we spend about 49 minutes responding to emails . . . which takes up about 10% of entire work day.

    –We’re so obsessed with email that even when we’re not sending one out, we constantly check our inbox. At work, the average person checks their box 30 to 40 times an HOUR.
